This project consisted of a 14-phased Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) renovation completed within an occupied facility, requiring careful sequencing and coordination to maintain daily operations throughout construction. The project marked the district’s first use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) from start to finish, culminating in a comprehensive as-built model for all new areas with associated asset data attached. Improvements were made throughout the building and included new flooring, paint, cabinets, markerboards, and ceilings. Major building system upgrades included the removal of existing HVAC and electrical systems and the installation of new, more efficient systems throughout the facility. Exterior improvements expanded recreational opportunities and included a new soccer field, basketball court, two tennis courts, and two pickleball courts.
